Digging for gold on the Golden Coast!

While waiting for my next trip (to London in one week), I would like to take you with me on a dive through old memories that haunt me over and over again. I visited this destination years ago, but I can still hear it calling for me: “Come back, Charlotte”, and I hope to get to go there again soon. The destination I am talking about is: The Golden Coast in Australia!

I was there years ago for one month, visiting a good friend of mine who studied there. And I loved it. Go with me on a picture journey to dig for gold; golden memories!

I flew to Brisbane (with a stop in Singapore, which was amazing – Singapore Airlines was a wonderful experience on its own) and stayed in Surfers Paradise on the Golden Coast:

My tip: rent a car and do a road trip! Visit places like Mooloolaba and Noosa on the Sunshine Coast – these places are absolutely amazing!

It is not hard to understand why its called Surfers Paradise!

The combination of the big city, pure nature, ocean and beaches as far as the eye can see, makes this place magical!

Charlotte in paradise; Surfers Paradise!

You should take the journey down to Sidney and visit Manly Island and Bondi Beach. One of my favorite places in Sidney was the Paddington area – great for shopping and people-watching in one of the many cute cafes.
