Magic moments in the Norwegian woods!

What does a perfect day look like?

My baby girl and I celebrating the perfect catch!

Magic moments sometimes come unexpected and in various forms. This weekend, my daughter, my mom and I were so lucky to experience some real Christmas magic!

A local farmer brought us along on his tractor up in the snow-covered woods to pick our very own Christmas tree. This was the first time for all of us and we were very excited! It turned out to be one of the best days I’ve had in a long time, filled with laughter and stars in our eyes. Look at this view:

Pure winter magic in the north of Norway!

We started riding the tractor (wich was great fun) up in the woods and all three of us were looking hard to find the perfect tree. Suddenly, we discovered a beautiful tree! Pure joy😍 We were very happy. It’s such a special thing to have a self – picked tree in our living room and we decorated it with lots of love. A brand new feeling for me personally😊 Look at this beauty:

“Look mommy, it’s perfect” 😍

For some people, this might be a normal experience. But for me, after many difficult years emotionally, this became such a special moment. To be at home in Norway after so many years living abroad, being able to share it with my baby girl, was truly amazing. I charished this day so much and I will keep this memory in my heart forever. I know my daughter and my mom will too. Let’s never stop creating magic moments, big or small, together with people we love!

With the pandemic being very dominant in our lives at the moment, these special experiences are even more important than ever. I wish you all a magic Christmas time filled with small magic moments. Take care of your heart and soul the best way you can❤️ You are not alone🌺

Big Christmas hug from
