VIDEO blog: My helicopter ride in the Grand Canyon – a dream come true!

The grand Grand Canyon – one of the worlds greatest natural wonders. I really felt small, standing at the “Eagle Point” (and the famous “Skywalk“), looking down into the valley and the Colorado River with no fence between me and certain death. I grew up with powerful nature, and to see the Grand Canyon was always a dream. But there is one thing I really had as a number one dream for a long time – a helicopter ride! So, when I got the opportunity to combine those two dreams, I did not hesitate. Taking a helicopter ride in the Grand Canyon. Wow!

I booked a tour from Las Vegas (a 7-hour tour with the tour operator Viator), going with a small airplane up to the Grand Canyon, taking a helicopter ride down to the Colorado River and back up again, followed by an airplane ride back to Las Vegas. It was really unforgettable!

To learn more about the history of the Hualapai Indians was also one of the highlights of the tour. I met my friend Wilfred by coincidence, making the visit even more valuable.

This day in the Grand Canyon will always stay in my heart as a valuable memory – one of the jewels of live, provided by travel!

Dare to make your dreams come true – the journey starts with a single step!
